Mais de 40 agentes participaram de mutirão contra a dengue em Goioerê
Uma verdadeira força-tarefa foi realizada nesta semana pela Prefeitura de Goioerê, visando orientar a população da cidade, sobre medidas de prevenção à proliferação do mosquito transmissor da dengue.
De acordo com Wilian Natan, coordenador do setor de endemias, cerca de 2 mil imóveis foram visitados pelos agentes em dois dias, entre os quais, residências e pontos comerciais. “É um trabalho importante de conscientização”, explica.
No total, segundo dados da Secretaria de Saúde, a força-tarefa visitou residências em mais de 40 quarteirões. “Nos dois dias foram cerca de 90 quarteirões visitados”, destaca Wilian, citando que além de orientar, houve fiscalização dos quintais.
CASOS: – Segundo dados da Secretaria de Saúde, Goioerê conta hoje com 9 casos positivos de dengue e um índice de infestação de 4.1%. O índice é alto e preocupa as autoridades, uma vez que o tolerado pela OMS – Organização Mundial de Saúde – é de 1%.
ÁGUA PARADA: – O coordenador Wilian cita que os principais locais usados pelo mosquito da dengue são recipientes que ficam ao ar livre. “Em dias chuva esses recipientes acabam acumulando água e servido de local para reprodução do mosquito”, explica.
Ele lembra que a ação realizada nesta semana tem como objetivo conscientizar a população sobre os cuidados com a doença, mesmo neste período de estiagem, porque agora é o momento de eliminar todos os possíveis focos.
Outro alerta que o coordenador faz, é para a população teque tem o hábito de acondicionar água em tonéis ou barris, para que usem cloro regularmente para matar as larvas. Vasos de flores, recipientes de comida e água de animais, calhas e todo objeto que possa acumular água, também deve ser cuidados de forma atenciosa.
