Baixa procura pela vacina contra a gripe acende alerta em Goioerê
Com início em 12 de abril, a campanha de vacinação contra a gripe em Goioerê ainda não decolou. De acordo com a Secretaria de Saúde, a procura pela vacina, especialmente por crianças com idade entre 6 meses e 5 anos, tem sido muito baixa.
A preocupação se deve ao fato de que se encerra nesta terça-feira, dia 11, a primeira etapa da campanha e a Prefeitura está alertando a população. “Nós estamos pedindo a colaboração dos pais, no sentido de levarem seus filhos para serem imunizados”, diz a secretária Gabriela Martins.
Ainda de acordo com a secretária, a vacina é segura e eficaz. Ela protege contra o vírus Influenza, que causa doença respiratória, muitas vezes, com quadros graves. Com a imunização, ocorre redução nas complicações e internações.
A vacina também previne contra complicações como pneumonia e outras doenças respiratórias que a criança pode desenvolver. “A vacina tem um papel fundamental para se evitar complicações de doenças respiratória, daí a importância da imunização”, diz a secretária.
NOVO GRUPO: A partir desta terça-feira, também começa a vacinação de idosos e professores, que devem procurar as UBS de seu bairro ou a mais próxima de sua casa.
Por medida de segurança, pessoas que receberam a vacina contra a Covid-19 precisam respeitar um intervalo mínimo de 14 dias para tomar a dose contra a gripe.
